Mi Casa Es Tu Casa was started up in 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina by a multinational group of people, predominantly from Italy and Argentina.

The main aim of the Association is to provide solidarity and social assistance to people in need.

It aims to develop International Voluntary services.

The Association collaborates with Dianova International, a network of autonomous organizations that develop social programs and innovative initiatives in 11 countries worldwide.

This project arose from the desire to promote international volunteering through the exchange of young volunteers between countries.

We operate in the district of Villa Gesell, on the coast of Argentina, 380 km from the City of Buenos Aires. This location allows people from abroad to have a life-changing experience in an attractive tourist location, which also has serious problems of social exclusion and poverty.

Our past experience has enabled us to encounter a series of formal and informal entities in Europe that seek to encourage training experiences abroad, and educate citizens by increasing their sense of solidarity.

This project aims to highlight the social situation of the place and facilitate the availability of citizens to reach out to the most vulnerable. Besides public and private volunteering services, the association aims to promote basic Spanish language courses for participants, in collaboration with local institutions.
